Big Brother IS Watching You

From the Mail On-Line 28th December 2008

News today of schools bugging classrooms for pupils as young as four is revealed today and is further evidence that today's society is in the grips of the CCTV style, Big Brother 1984 syndrome.

The system, comprising of a video and microphone, can be used while lessons are taking place and can provide courtroom evidence of disruptive pupils, bullying and anything else that schools want to use it for.

Is this legal surveillance? The data protection watchdog, the Information Commissioner has warned that surveillance may be illegal and has demanded to know why schools are using this kind of sophisticated equipment to watch children. 'Proper justification is being sought from schools as to why this equipment is being used'.

Whether this is state sponsored bugging or just some over zealous, misplaced, money-minded sales-person selling the equipment to schools under the banner of security, it is the continuance of this very long wedge - spying on citizens of the UK.

It is only a step away from new buildings being built and installed, or retro fitted, with discrete surveillance equipment to spy on us.

If this equipment was being used in areas of 'high security' at entrance gates and doorways, this would be a different story, but in the classroom and 'private areas, hearing and seeing what anyone is saying is totally unacceptable and an intrusion to civil liberties.

Big Brother is certainly here, but how far will labours ex-communist politicians allow this to go? (Once a communist always a communist, the saying goes!!)

New Year 2009

Well the New Year will be here shortly -in a couple of days. The war/wars will still be here, although gordon brown says the Iraqi war will be over in the next couple of months, yeh right!
Our troops will come home, say hello to their families and give them a quick peck on the cheeks, if they get the chance and fly straight out on the next plane to Afghanistan, to support the ever number of troops on their ever courageous support for this ever cynical and communist government in the UK.

The downturn will be worse than 2008, there will be more businesses going bust and more employees on the dole, which the government will try and get back to work. It is said that this downturn will be even worse than during the 1940s'. But will the people in the UK be backing the labour government? They sure will as the life for the immigrant in the UK is better than in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Poland, etc and the rest of Europe put together, with its free hand out of money at the border and then being waved through the border by the hand of friendship from, you guest it, Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshies.......... There was a time when an immigrant had to work for 3 months before they could get a hand out in the UK. The English, with its own poor, will be going through this state sponsored poverty downturn with no food, no electricity or gas as we cannot pay the ever burgeoning bills, no jobs and no trust on the state sponsored terrorism paid by the English citizen for a war against Iraq and Afghanistan. Then gordon brown, the divine world leader, gives out money, which we can ill afford, millions of pounds to Pakistan and India to fight terror, which they may be sponsoring anyway, one can never tell.

The ever increase in state politics in the police must definitely be watched in 2009. The police with their increased powers under comrade blair and comrade brown, have made them brash and largely, it seems, uncontrollable and ever considered to be the thought police of this socialist establishment. You can see when they, the police, broke into the houses of parliament, the offices and home of Mr Green, an Opposition Politician doing his daily duty to inform on the government of the day. It now comes out that they videoed the events without asking the permission of Mr Green and parliament whilst ejecting an Opposition Member of Parliament trying to question the police as to whether they are over-stepping their jurisdiction.

That is enough of this rant for a few hours - see more soon

British Troops to Pull Out of Iraq

The government has announced today to pull our troops out of Iraq, to start from July 21st 2009. They say that the task, after nearly 6 years, is nearing an end and the Iraqi troops and police can, or will, be able to handle the situation by next year or shortly after.

The British troops will be reduced to 400 from the current 4,100 to allow for continuous training of their troops. With two more personnel killed, the total being 178, already this week and the many more personnel before them it is about time.

A memorial wall built in Iraq, that has the names of the British dead on it, will be dismantled and brought back to the UK so that families can have a permanent memorial over here.

I wonder whether it is all worth this sacrifice though. When the government is refusing to have an inquiry into how we were dragged into this war, only to find that the 'weapons of mass destruction' were not found after considerable searches by a special team sent to Iraq.

Will Iraq once again breed anarchy in the region and will Iran go in and incur their own brand of Islamic fundamentalism and women will have to have their faces covered, there will be no women and young girls going to school and their will be breeding of terrorists to spread death and destruction around the world.

Look out UK we have large numbers of Islamic Sleepers in this country, as can be seen by the Muslim doctor now imprisoned for 36 years for running a terrorist cell and trying to blow up various places around Britain including Glasgow Airport where his partner set himself alight because he didn't want to pay for his crimes but be blessed in 'heaven'.

Plane Stupid

I cannot condone the actions of Plane Stupid in disrupting passengers lives. I can understand that, environmentally, they have a point, but to delay hundreds of passengers in a dawn raid on Stansted Airport and stopping airport traffic, I just cannot condone.

One of the comments from a protester was that, 'Half of the passengers would be going on journeys that could be taken by other means'. How she knows this is anyones guess, but then how does she think that they would be travelling, by car, train? These forms of transport will know doubt be their cause one day and then where will we be.

Does make me think though, do these protesters go on holiday by plane, car or train, or do they stay at home twiddling their thumbs?

No Conviction NO DNA

The European Court of Human Rights has today given the people of England and Wales the best evidence ever that this government was on course to have a DNA and fingerprint database of every legal citizen in the UK, every illegal immigrant would get off lightly, for their own ends. The judgement means that if you are arrested and not convicted of any crime, your DNA and fingerprints, which are taken when you are cautioned and arrested on suspicion of having done a crime, must be immediately destroyed.

The case was brought by two men, after being arrested and their DNA was taken but not convicted, to the European Court of Human Rights after a decision by the UK High Court was thrown out in 2001.

Even after this judgement by 17 top Eurpean judges gave this verdict he Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said "The existing law will remain in place while we carefully consider the judgement." Which smacks of business as usual in this Communistic Labour Govenment and two fingers to the European Courts.

Baby P - Ed Balls - Childrens Secretary

Ed Balls, The Childrens Secretary, has announced his decision on the backbone of the Inspectors report into the death and violence enacted in the Baby P. case.

Well done to him for his involvement into the immediate sacking of Sharon Shoesmith, Head of Haringey Childrens Services, who intially said that there should be no-one sacked over the case, would be immediately removed from her job.

Ed Balls has put John Coughlan into the position and he must report back by 31st December 2008.

2 other members have also resigned in connection with the Baby P. case, George Meehan the Leader of Haringey Council Liz Santry and the Haringey Cabinet Member of Children and Young People.

Let us hope the this devasting death will not happen again in the UK, not least in Haringey!!

Mumbai Massacre

Why was the first thing that came out of the lips of Indian sources and Special Services in the UK that the gunmen were either british citizens or had links with british muslims.

Why is it that whenever there is a threat british muslims are suspected?

Because there are links to radical muslims in England.

The denial of this report two days after these claims were broadcast, the Secret Services and the British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, deny this, but can we believe this. A very big and emphatic NO!

So what are we to believe - we will have to wait and see, unless there is a total news blackout, which is very likely, in this the old communist guard of the Communistic labour party of Great Britain.

Mis-Use of the Disabled Parking Bays

Today at Tesco in Addlestone, Surrey, disabled drivers were parking in bays designated Disabled Parking only. This means that you must have a legal Blue Disabled Parking badge, which must be showing the time that the vehicle arrived and who the badge belongs to.

At the time of my arrival there was several cars I checked on 6 that had no badge displayed and that I had to wait about 10 Min's and others even longer, or they had to park elsewhere.

These Disabled bays are for the sole use of disabled drivers, not for the overflow of family bays with children or anyone else thinking that they can park close to the front entrance and nip in for their shopping.

The Disability Discrimination Act

The Disability Discrimination Act from October 2004, Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 came into effect within the United Kingdom. This legislation places a legal requirement on service providers to ensure that disabled people do not find it unreasonably difficult or impossible to enjoy the service in the same way as non-disabled people.

The Legal Requirements

Whilst the earlier parts of the Act focused primarily on disabled access to buildings, Part III now looks closer at the issue of car parking. A key element of Part III is that service providers that operate a car park now have to 'monitor' their disabled parking bays to prevent abuse by non-disabled drivers. Failure to provide monitoring could result in a heavy financial penalty, as disabled drivers exercise their rights to compensation under the terms of the Act.

This said there are thousands of drivers out there that are illegally using the blue badge to illegally park. Disabled drivers, as well, are allowing people to use them.

Some councils are clamping down on their use and are becoming stricter in their issuing policy and the disabled driver has now to undergo new tests which will persecute those that can only walk a short way without having to take a rest or call for help.

I urge all disabled people, those that have some form of disability that stops them from walking or gives them less control over their walking ability to contact the Member of Parliament and their local Councilors to object to the way the system of issuing the Disability Badge has now focused.

A Shadow Politician Arrested for 9 Hours.

There was an arrest and a 9 hour detention for one of the UKs Conservative Shadow Politicians after a rather dubious case of leaks from the Home Office. It is understood that a junior official has been suspended on suspicion leaking sensitive information. Whether this is the same case has yet to be established.

Mr Green was arrested by the police on suspicion of
"conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office" and "aiding and abetting, counselling or procuring misconduct in a public office".

It has been reported, BBC News Web-site 28th November 2008, that there have been a number of leaks of information from the Home Office, such as:
  1. An illegal immigrant had been employed as a cleaner in the House of Commons
  2. The Home Secretary knew licences had been granted to security guards who were illegal immigrants.
  3. The government was also concerned about the leak of a letter in which the home secretary warned that a recession could lead to a rise in crime.
It was also reported that Mr Cameron, Boris Johnson and Michael Martin, the Commons Speaker, new of the arrest but the labour party prime minister Gordon Brown and the home office minister did not until after the arrest, which to me is incredulous.

Does this mean that the police are acting out of hand without the Home Office knowing anything about these matters, particularly to a high ranking politician, even a shadow minister. Or does it mean there is a political which hunt out to get a liberal politician doing his job.

When it comes down to it I would rather know about information about illegal immigration and why it is so high, why there are illegal immigrants working in the Home Office and, more probably, in other government and local council offices

St Paul's Cathedral - 300 years old

St Paul's Cathedral 300 years old today, Happy Birthday.

It has triumphed through World War II and the Blitz, it has struggled through the ages with erosion from pigeon droppings and acid rain, and it has reached its total of £40,000,000,000 target on it's 300th birthday through public donations.

But why donations?

I agree, that we should donate some money to the upkeep of these magnificent buildings, some of them, particularly in London, dwarfed by their neighbours of the City of London and Docklands, but why shouldn't they receive a proportion of the nations taxes to support them?

Why should tax payers money be spent on the Houses of Parliament?

Shouldn't the Houses of Parliament come under the same restrictions and donations sought from benefactors instead of using tax payers money to repair it?

The established Church in England has as much right to take our taxes as donations as Parliament in Westminster and other Government Buildings.

Instead of fighting for recognition with other immigrant churches and mosques it must be recognised that this is the Nations Heritage and as such must be recognised.

To this end I am writing to my local MP for some answers, but it may come under the Freedom of Information Act.

Gordon Brown IS the Chancellor of the Exchequor

Ever since the un-opposed election, a travesty in my opinion, of Gordon Brown to that coveted position of Prime Minister, Gordon Brown has been the man pulling the strings behind Alistair Darling, and if ever there was/is a fall guy it is to be Alistair Darling.

It was always my view that this was the position and today I heard on the BBC that this was a presumption that everyone in the media had.

Gordon Brown was the Chancellor for around 10 years and everything that I have seen to date whilst he has been in the coveted PM seat smacks of his hand.

Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling and the UK finances

We are to expect a rise in government borrowing to fund a massive spending spree by the labour party who says it will help us, the tax payers, to ease the financial crisis by tax reductions, giving us more money in our pockets.

It was reported also, that the government has already borrowed 34,000,000,000,000 pounds this year, most of it before this financial crisis. They now want to borrow a reported 15,000,000,000,000 pounds to give us so called massive tax cuts.

How will this be paid for? By heavily taxing us in a couple of years and then b by blaming the world financial crisis, when they think that we have forgotten it. They are blaming the UK crisis on the world financial affair already, which they have from the beginning, if I remember correctly.

Gordon Brown, in 1999, sold 4bn of the UK gold reserves when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer leaving Britain with the lowest bullion holdings of any country. It was reported to have been converted to Euros, Yen and Dollars leaving us with only 7% of gold reserves out of 17%. Not a lot. Although it was denied, it was reported at the time that this was to ease us, the UK, covertly, into a single currency in the euro-zone.

Hopefully, when their is an election, the voters in the UK will see through his policies and see the foolishness in his plans. Whoever gets in will have to tax the country harder to pay for his foolishness, by borrowing billions of pounds and getting this country into such large debt that it will take years to recover.

At the moment a Conservative or Liberal government would do better than this lame duck prime minister/chancellor.

Prince Charles & 'Defender of THE Faith'

In the past, not least during his 60th birthday celebrations, Prince Charles has come out in his views of being defender of faith instead of Defender Of The Faith. [sic]

[You must know by now any title I don't believe in is written without capitalisation. Nick]

In the early part of the 14th Century (around 1530) the title 'Defender Of The Faith' was given to Henry VIII by Pope Gregory for his dealings and denunciation of Martin Luther and his Protestant Church, amongst others.

It was also in 1533 that Henry VIII wanted to divorce Catherine of Aragon to marry Anne Boleyn as Catherine had only conceived a daughter, Mary, and didn't have a male heir. Anne produced two females one eventually being Queen Elizabeth I, before being beheaded for adultery. The rest this story can be read in other places.

One reason why England became an Anglican country was that Henry VIII wanted to divorce Catherine to wed the pregnant Anne. He was denied by Pope Clement VII and the only way Henry could get what he wanted, was to turn this country's faith from Roman Catholic to an Anglican 'Church of England' State by using laws, and his powers, to make England a country overseen by an English Monarch who was Head of State, Defender of The Faith.

This situation lasted until Charles I went to a Civil War with Cromwell and Parliament. Charles I lost the Civil War and Cromwell and Parliament removed the kings head. We then became a Parliamentary State and, eventually, after years of wrangling in Parliament, with King Charles II Head of State and Defender Of The Faith.

We, the English people, have had many situations in the latter half of the 20th century, where Parliament i.e. the labour party, has wanted to dissolve the governance of the Queen as Head of State, as many socialist and communist countries have done so around the world.

I firmly believe Prince Charles, in his naive way, is falling deftly into their trap.

By making England a multi-cultural society, the labour party is knowingly reducing standards to accommodate the so called ethnic minorities, with their many diverse religions and mother tongues to relieve the English of their own high standards of morality and religeon.

Even Rowen Williams has been involved in talking about integrating Sharia Law into English Law. Will we see next the wearing of muslim headdress by English women fearful of Sharia Law?

Some say that some of Jewish Laws are integrated into our system, but Jewish Law is not as harsh as Sharia Law and not so brutal.

Prince Charles must look at these cultures as Head of State, but I believe firmly in the upholding of the Church of England and the Defender of THE Faith.

The death of Baby P.

So, Harringey Council have done it again and allowed a baby in their Borough to die in the hands of its mother and two of her men. The boy named baby P was brutally beaten and died after being alive for just 17 months.

Baby P. had been seen 60 times during this time but nothing had been done to take either the baby into care or to take action against the adults who were supposed to look after him.

It has now been announced that a 'whistle blower' warned the government that there was a problem with children in the Borough.

How long will it take this labour government to clamp down hard on its own labour councils and take them over, as they must, to protect the children in this country.

Welcome

Are my thoughts political? Some say that all things are political. But is the way one thinks, or the direction of ones thoughts, given to you from your parents from conception, born with you from your first breath, the way you see the world when you are growing up and the injusticies that you see along life's highway, political?

There are laws being made in England that the English, like me, cannot talk about, legally or emotionally as we have been gagged in such a way as to be frightened by laws made seemingly for the good of the nation, but instead to gag freedom of speech, unless one happens to be a religious leader or leader of other group in charge of a foreign, non-English group.

I am not right or left wing, but I believe my rights in England are being eroded away by a government that wants to dumb down Englishness in favour of Britishness.

So, it appears that I cannot talk about many subjects that concern me. My free speech has been curtailed by draconian laws that give freedoms to other groups but not me an Englishman.

So there we have it my blog on 'My Political Thoughts?'
